BN-JECA publishes original scholarly articles across its defined areas of interest. All articles undergo the journal's editorial screening and double-blind peer-review process before acceptance. Manuscripts must comply with the journal's Author Guidelines and demonstrate clear scholarly contribution and relevance to the journal's scope.

BN-JECA follows a double-blind peer-review process to ensure that manuscripts are evaluated fairly, objectively, and independently. The identities of authors are concealed from reviewers, and the identities of reviewers are concealed from authors throughout the peer-review process.

1. Initial Editorial Screening — All manuscripts undergo screening for alignment with scope, originality, methodological quality, compliance with Author Guidelines, formatting, ethical requirements, plagiarism risk, and suitability for external review.
2. Assignment of Reviewers — Manuscripts that pass screening are assigned to at least two independent reviewers with appropriate expertise. Additional reviewers may be invited when necessary.
3. Double-Blind Review — Reviewers are not informed of author identity; authors are not informed of reviewer identity. Both parties should not attempt to identify the other.
4. Reviewer Evaluation — Reviewers evaluate originality, significance, relevance, methodology, data quality, analysis, organization, references, ethics, conclusions, and overall contribution.
5. Reviewer Confidentiality — Manuscripts are confidential. Reviewers must not share, disclose, or use unpublished information for personal advantage.
6. Conflicts of Interest — Reviewers must disclose conflicts and decline assignments when impartiality may be affected.
7. Reviewer's Recommendation — Reviewers may recommend: Accept; Minor Revision; Major Revision; Resubmit for Further Review; or Reject. Recommendations are advisory only.
8. Editorial Decision — The Editor-in-Chief or designated editor makes the final decision based on reviewer reports, manuscript quality, journal policies, and scholarly merit.
9. Revision and Re-Review — Authors must submit revised manuscripts within the communicated timeframe and provide point-by-point responses. Substantial revisions may be returned to original reviewers.
10. Reviewer Timeline — Reviewers are normally requested to complete reviews within 2–3 weeks. The journal does not guarantee specific review or publication timelines.
11. Special Issues — Special issue manuscripts are subject to the same quality-control and peer-review standards as regular submissions.
12. Reviewer Use of Artificial Intelligence — Reviewers must not upload confidential manuscript content to generative AI tools. AI must not replace independent scholarly judgment.
13. Appeals — Authors may appeal decisions based on significant procedural error, misunderstanding, or inappropriate review. Appeal decisions are final unless substantive new evidence warrants reconsideration.
14. Publication After Acceptance — Accepted manuscripts proceed through copyediting, formatting, proofreading, metadata preparation, and publication. BN-JECA follows a continuous publication model with received, revised, accepted, and publication dates displayed where applicable.

BN-JECA follows a continuous publication model. Manuscripts are accepted and published throughout the year after completing editorial screening, peer review, revision, and final production processes.

Accepted articles are published online individually as soon as they are ready for publication, allowing research findings to become available without waiting for the completion of a scheduled issue. BN-JECA maintains its assigned volume and issue structure for archival and bibliographic purposes while allowing articles to be published continuously throughout the publication year.

BN-JECA is a fully open-access, peer-reviewed journal providing immediate and free access to all published scholarly articles online. BN-JECA believes that making research freely available promotes the global exchange of knowledge, increases research visibility, and supports the advancement of education, innovation, technology, sustainability, and climate action.

All published scholarly articles are made freely available online without subscription fees, registration requirements, or embargo periods. Readers may read, download, copy, search, and link to the full text of published articles, subject to the copyright and licensing terms applicable to each article.

Open Access and Licensing

BN-JECA provides open access to its published scholarly content under an open license that permits appropriate reuse of the published work.

The applicable license will be clearly displayed on each published article and its full-text version. For Creative Commons-licensed articles, users must comply with the terms and conditions of the applicable license, including appropriate attribution to the original author(s) and publication in BN-JECA.

Immediate Access — Articles are made openly accessible immediately upon publication. BN-JECA does not impose an embargo period.

Author Rights — Authors retain the rights specified in the journal's Copyright and Licensing Policies and may share their published work through appropriate institutional repositories, personal or institutional websites, and other permitted scholarly platforms, subject to the applicable license.

No Subscription Requirement — Readers do not need to purchase a subscription or pay a fee to access published articles. The journal's Article Processing Charge (APC), where applicable, is charged to authors or their funding institutions and does not restrict readers' access.

BN-JECA is committed to preserving its published scholarly record for long-term access and bibliographic continuity. Published articles remain part of the journal's online archive and retain their DOI and bibliographic metadata.

The journal maintains volume and issue structure for archival purposes while publishing articles continuously throughout the year. Retracted articles remain identifiable in the archive with linked retraction notices to preserve the integrity and traceability of the scholarly record.

BN-JECA is working toward inclusion in recognized scholarly indexing and discovery services to increase the visibility, accessibility, and citability of published research. Indexing information will be updated as the journal's indexing status develops.

Authors are encouraged to include accurate metadata, DOIs, and ORCID iDs during submission to support discoverability and indexing processes.

BN-JECA is committed to maintaining high standards of academic integrity, responsible research, transparency, and ethical scholarly publishing. The journal does not tolerate plagiarism, fabrication or falsification of data, duplicate publication, inappropriate authorship, citation manipulation, peer-review manipulation, or other forms of research and publication misconduct.

1. Responsibilities of the Editorial Team — Editors evaluate manuscripts fairly, maintain confidentiality, select qualified reviewers, manage conflicts of interest, and take appropriate action on misconduct allegations.
2. Responsibilities of Authors — Authors must submit original work, accurately report research, properly cite sources, ensure meaningful authorship contributions, obtain ethical approval where required, disclose conflicts and funding, retain research data, and disclose substantive AI use.
3. Authorship and Contributorship — All listed authors must have made substantial contributions and approve the final version. Guest, honorary, and ghost authorship are not permitted.
4. Originality and Plagiarism — Manuscripts must be original. Submitted manuscripts may undergo similarity screening. Editorial assessment considers nature, extent, source, and context of any overlap.
5. Research Integrity and Data — Authors must ensure data accuracy and authenticity and retain supporting documentation. Data sharing is encouraged where ethically and legally appropriate.
6. Ethical Oversight — Research involving human participants, animals, or sensitive subjects must comply with applicable ethical standards. Ethics approval and informed consent information must be provided where required.
7. Conflicts of Interest — Authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose actual, potential, or perceived conflicts of interest.
8. Peer Review Ethics — Reviewers must maintain confidentiality, provide objective comments, declare conflicts, and complete reviews within agreed timeframes.
9. Confidentiality — Submitted manuscripts are confidential and must not be used for personal advantage without authorization.
10. Artificial Intelligence — AI systems cannot be listed as authors. Substantive AI use must be disclosed. AI must not be used to fabricate data, references, or findings.
11. Intellectual Property and Copyright — Authors must ensure submitted material does not infringe third-party rights and must obtain permission for copyrighted materials where required.
12. Complaints and Appeals — Complaints may be submitted to bamboonexus.bnjeca@gmail.com. Authors may appeal editorial decisions on procedural grounds.
13. Research Misconduct — Allegations may result in requests for explanation, consultation with experts, institutional contact, rejection, correction, expression of concern, or retraction.
14. Corrections and Retractions — Errors may be addressed through corrections or errata. Serious problems may result in retraction.
15. Post-Publication Concerns — Legitimate scholarly concerns may result in corrections, clarifications, editorial notes, expressions of concern, or retraction notices linked to affected articles.
16. Editorial Independence — Editorial decisions are made independently based on scholarly quality and must not be improperly influenced by external parties.
17. Commitment to Ethical Publishing — BN-JECA regularly reviews its publication policies to maintain a fair, transparent, and ethical publishing environment.

BN-JECA is committed to maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of its published scholarly record. Retraction is an exceptional measure undertaken only after appropriate editorial assessment and investigation.

1. Grounds for Retraction — Including fabrication or falsification of data, serious methodological errors, plagiarism, duplicate publication, ethical violations, lack of required ethics approval, peer-review manipulation, authorship misconduct, undisclosed conflicts, citation manipulation, or other circumstances undermining reliability.
2. Reporting a Concern — Concerns may be raised by authors, readers, reviewers, editors, researchers, institutions, or other stakeholders via bamboonexus.bnjeca@gmail.com.
3. Initial Assessment — The editor reviews the article, editorial records, and may request clarification, documentation, or expert consultation.
4. Investigation — Authors are normally given opportunity to respond. The journal may communicate with institutions or relevant authorities when appropriate.
5. Editorial Decision — Outcomes may include no action, correction/erratum, expression of concern, or retraction.
6. Author Notification and Response — Corresponding authors are normally informed and given opportunity to respond before retraction.
7. Retraction Notice — A separate, clearly identifiable notice will identify the article, state retraction reasons, and provide the retraction date.
8. Retraction and the Original Article — Retracted articles remain in the archive, clearly marked as RETRACTED, with DOI and bibliographic record preserved.
9. Appeals — Authors may appeal retraction decisions on procedural, evidentiary, or misunderstanding grounds via bamboonexus.bnjeca@gmail.com.
10. Retraction for Ethical or Legal Reasons — Access may be restricted in exceptional legal, ethical, privacy, or safety circumstances with transparent documentation.
11. Retraction Does Not Erase the Scholarly Record — Retraction corrects the scholarly record; retracted articles remain part of publication history.

BN-JECA recognizes that artificial intelligence (AI) tools may be used to support research, writing, editing, data analysis, and other scholarly activities. Authors may use AI-assisted tools responsibly, provided that their use does not compromise the originality, accuracy, integrity, and accountability of the submitted work.

Author Responsibility — Authors remain fully responsible for all manuscript content. AI tools cannot be listed as authors or co-authors.

Disclosure of AI Use — Authors should disclose substantive AI use when AI has been used for generating or developing text, editing substantial portions, generating or modifying images or figures, assisting with data analysis, or other substantive contributions. Routine spelling, grammar, formatting, or reference-management tools do not normally require disclosure.

Responsible Use of AI — Authors must verify AI-generated information and references, ensure citations are accurate, avoid fabricated content, protect confidential or sensitive information, and comply with copyright, privacy, and ethical requirements.

Peer Review and AI — Reviewers and editors must protect manuscript confidentiality and must not upload confidential content to publicly accessible AI tools.

Editorial Responsibility — AI tools do not replace human scholarly judgment. Editorial decisions remain the responsibility of the journal's editors.
